This tool will plot a given function, its integral and first derivative. Download.xls file (167 KB) or .zip file (29 KB) How to use the tool Suppose you want to integrate the equation y = esin(x) from x = 0 to x = 10. The constant of integration (value of the integral at x=0) is 1. To do this using the Function Analysis tool, proceed as follows: If done correctly, you should see this screen. The value of the integral can be seen from the integral graph. The exact value (15.60) can be obtained by placing the mouse at the last point on the graph. |
