Batch Scheduler: Usage
| Description Usage How it works |
The file consists of 3 sheets. The first sheet holds the batch names, production and set up times, entered by the user. The production times are keyed in into the yellow cells while the setup times are keyed in into the green ones. For example, in the screenshot below, we notice that: 1. It takes 2.1 days to produce a batch of Flame Red; 2. It takes 0.4 days to change from Flame Red to Sky Blue; 3. it takes 0.35 days to change from Flame Red to Bottle Green, and so on. ![]() The optimized schedule is shown on the second sheet. The three best schedules can be selected using the combo box. The total production time is shown too. ![]() Note that it may take some time for the results to update, expecially on slower computers. |
